VW T4 shock absorber mount for crew cab and flatbed 

This shock absorber bracket, specially developed for VW T4 crew cabs and flatbed vans, is the result of an extensive 8-month development phase in which the focus was on quality and fidelity to the original. Manufactured from 3 mm thick, robust steel, it guarantees exceptional stability and durability. A key feature is the reinforced attachment of the shock absorber, which is reinforced with an additional 3 mm steel insert welded on, increasing the overall thickness at the main load point to 6 mm. An M12 thread for the shock absorber bolt is fitted on the opposite side. 

This carefully reproduced item consists of three precisely manufactured and fully welded parts. A protective layer of zinc, which protects against flash rust, covers the components, although it should be noted that this does not provide permanent corrosion protection when installed. After installation, we recommend thorough cleaning and subsequent treatment with a 2K primer, such as Interplus 356, and a final, bitumen-free, permanently elastic underbody protection.
