How should the VW T4 repair panels be treated after welding?

Instructions for the correct treatment of repair plates after welding:
1. After welding, clean the welding nights with a brush or angle grinder.
2. Degrease the weld and the repair plate.
3. Prime the welds and the repair plate, preferably with a 2k primer.
4. Provide the repair sheet with stone chip protection and make sure that the stone chip protection is not bitumen-based.
5. Treat the repair sheet with a cavity sealant from the inside and outside.
