What is the paint structure like for shrink-wrapped repair plates?

The paint build-up of shrink-wrapped repair plates can vary depending on the type of repair and the condition of the vehicle.
In general, however, it consists of the following steps:

1. Cleaning:
The area to be repaired is thoroughly cleaned to remove dirt, grease and old paint.

2. Primer:
The sheet metal is treated with a primer to protect it from rust and to create an even surface for the paint build-up.

3. Grinding:
The sheet metal is sanded to remove unevenness and layers of paint and to create a smooth surface for the new paint.

4. Spatulas:
If necessary, small bumps or holes are filled with filler and sanded smooth.

5. Varnishing:
The sheet metal is painted to match the colour and gloss of the rest of the vehicle.

6. Polishing:
The new paint is polished to achieve a smooth surface and uniform coloring.

It should be noted that this is a general procedure and depending on the company, type of damage, and experience of the painter, there may be small differences.
