Acoustic capsule for VW T4 gear linkage – reproduction

The original acoustic capsule (VW part no. 7D0 711 545) has been discontinued for years – yet it noticeably reduces noise levels, since only a thin leather boot seals the area under the gear lever from the road.
Our reproduction closes this weak point: a 3D-printed acoustic capsule made of PETG forms a sturdy outer shell, and the interior can optionally be lined with damping mats for maximum sound absorption (not included).
The result: less droning at highway speeds and a more comfortable cabin temperature, as heat from the transmission tunnel stays outside.
